Review Beyond the Campus

University Senates Conference

Every action taken by the UIC Senate is reviewed by the University Senates Conference. This group is comprised of faculty senators from the three campuses. The purpose of this body is to examine all of the business conducted by the Senates and to determine if the actions of the Senate on one campus affects the other campuses.

Once the University Senates Conference has reviewed the actions of the Senates and has determined that no further Senate jurisdiction is involved, then the Office of Programs and Academic Assessment is cleared to forward items to the Board of Trustees.
