Review Beyond the Campus

The University has an established protocol which it adheres to in dealing with the Board of Trustees and the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Understandably, units that have proposals before the BOT and IBHE are anxious to learn of their progress. Any inquiries about the status of a particular proposal should be made to the Office of Programs and Academic Assessment (Ext. 3-3462) which will, in turn, contact the Office of the Vice President in University Administration. No one representing the campus (department, school, college, Senate, Academic Affairs) should be in direct contact with the BOT or IBHE. That is the responsibility of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, which has a long and well-established relationship with both groups.
